A seasoned K-12 educational leader and coach, when Dr. Amy Boyd finished her dissertation, she started Write the Damn Dissertation. Since 2018 she has helped over 17,000 doc students (and masters thesis students) make progress on their dissertation and thesis through her 5 and 7-day writing workshops, her paid programs, and through one on one coaching. In 2024, Dr. Amy created The Empower and Lead Coaching Academy (ELCA), a certification program that incorporates Life Coaching with Performance Coaching grounded in Identity Coaching. So when coaches graduate from the program, they obtain 3 certifications. The ELCA also includes a robust business building component so you can become a coach and create the profitable coaching practice of your dreams. Amy resides on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland with her husband and 14-year old son, English Mastiff "Murphy", French Bulldog "Cooper", and Ragdoll cat "Sarah".
